The Makita 3-1/4 Inch planer is perfect for construction framing， window and door installation and fine woodworking applications. Two-blade cutter head is powered by a 6.5 Amp motor that delivers an operating speed of 17，000 RPM for efficient stock removal. Double-edged carbide blade has the capacity to plane 3-1/4 Inch wide and 3/32 Inch deep surfaces in just a single pass. Base is made from precision aluminum material that gives added strength and accurate results. Ball bearing construction increases the longevity of the motor and the tool. Spring-loaded stand elevates the base to ensure the blade and the tool is safeguarded from heavy impacts. Blade can be installed easily with an easy blade setting mechanism. Lock-on button ensures uninterrupted operation for longer periods of time. Planer drum minimizes vibration when using the planer for heavy-duty applications. Click depth adjustment knob allows the user to adjust the cutting depth from 0 to 3/32 Inch in 0.1 mm increments. Centered balance has an ergonomic design and the front and rear handles have a rubber grip for more comfort. V-belt is made from high quality poly material for durability. Double insulated design offers good user safety. Planer comes with a 3-1/4 Inch planer blade， blade gauge， socket wrench， guide rule and a tool case.
