Handmade in England from waterproof suede, the latest iteration of our signature holdall brings technical performance to your travel despite its fine napped feel. Finished with black veg tan Tuscan leather trim, our grey suede is moss backed to make it watertight to the elements without compromising its character. With capacity for a long weekend away, two waterproof shoe/wet compartments, an internal zip pocket and padded laptop sleeve, the weekender sits on top of a full leather, studded base. In addition, solid brass British-cast hardware and a military grade cotton webbing shoulder strap ensure a lifetime of service.

Care

Although the suede is treated to add protection against water, this material looks and ‘performs’ like any other premium suede. It is a natural, very malleable material so you can use your hands or a suede brush to smooth out marks and patterns that develop or of course leave them if you prefer this appearance. Having tested this material for a few years now we find allowing the bag to develop its own unique character and patina, using a brush only when it needs a clean is the best approach.

We only use solid brass hardware, which will develop a more golden, understated look through regular use. If you want to clean it or prefer a shiny appearance, please use a good quality brass polish, (taking care not to apply any to the canvas or leather as this can cause discolouration). 

We appreciate the irony of keeping a bag inside another bag. We would however strongly advise storing your product in the dust bag provided when not in use; you’ll thank yourself next time you hit the road with a pristine carry.
